The renovation work of residence of the victim going on.As per statement of Eye Witness from the load-side of meter temporary power supply extended in folding switch board through open flexible wiring. From switch board to electric motor power supply was given by making joint of another flexible wire & these joints are wrapped by white cotton cloth. The white cloth portion of phase terminal was wet and the victim came in contact with this cloth. The Witness has seen this cloth in left hand of the victim. Bhavesh Jayantilal Jambucha climbed up the Shackle pole of 11 kv Sihor -R feeder, Power supply of which was ON. on date: 22/01/10 a mass maintenance drive was arranged at 66kv Songadh S/S for the maintenance of 11 kv Ambala Ag feeder & line clear of three feeders namely 11 kv Ambala Ag., 11 kv Piparadi Ag & 11 kv Ishvariya JGY feeder were taken by Line inspector Sanosara. As there is no crossing of Ambala & Sihor Rural feeder line clear of 11 kv Sihor Rural was not taken Due to mis understanding the Victim climbed up on the Shackle Pole of 11 kv Sihor Rural feeder & touched the Shackle pole jumper & got shock & fell down. He was taken at PHC Songadh for treatment & during treatment he died.

He was alloted Two nos. of complaints with his pair, (1) Complaint no: 22852 Sh V D Makwana behind Rayon Mill compound and (2) Complaint no: 22859 of Manjibhai Baghubhai Amar Society plot no; 35 . In both the cases jumpers were blown off. The link switch of 11 kv Kumbharwada feeder (location no; KMB/44) was isolated by Sh. K U Rathava, Sh S B Vasava & Sh. P B Budheliya were on the location NR/KMB/131 where 2 Nos. of Jumpers were blown off (This pole is of 11 KV gOPAL feeder which was tripped at that particular time) As soon as it was confirmed by Sh Rathava that the link switch is isolatedSh Budheliya climbed the pole. Sh. S B Vasava was supervising the work. Victim completed the work of first jumper When he started the work of second jumper the try of 11 kv Gopal feeder was taken from S/S end. Sh Budheliya got electrocuted and fell down on ground. Thus the accident is due to work carried out on wrong feeder for which neither LC was taken nor any switch was isolated.
